Carolyn please liestn. First of all, cancer in a 20 yrs is 0-none. Your Breast are naturally lumpy and no matter where you touch, you will feel these lumps due to your hormones right now. From the onset of puberty well into the 20 s this happens.

Of course you can get cancer in those bones, anyone can, but the way you sound so worried, it seems that you are too obsessed about Breast cancer. Don't worry, Stop doing self exams and start again around 35-40. Wait until your Dr tells you it's time too. And they will.

Most women are diagnosed with Breast cancer during or after menopause. So you can relax. You are not in any of those categories. Anything at any age is possible, but also improbable. Hope this helps

Strange, yes. But how did both of you come up with the thought that it's in the 1st stages? From what you said, it seems you are both "supposing". At this point, only word from your doctor will confirm or deny whether it's 1st stage or not. But if it's 1st stage, yes, it is treatable. And, most importantly, yes, it's common to be scared, but your husband needs your strength right now. He's the one that should be more scared and so needs you to be STRONG for him. Here's some good news - LOTS of cases of prostate cancer are now treatable; so that should make you smile, :)

My husband is supposed to be in the 1st stages of prostate cancer. He had a bone scan and it came back positive in pelvic and spine area. I don't understand if it's in the 1st stage how can it already have spread outside and into the bones. Is it treatable? We see dr. next week. to long for me. I need answers. I'm scared.
